We collect information through Google OAuth and direct interaction with our portal:

  • Identity Data: Name, email address, and profile picture (retrieved via Google Login).
  • Educational Data: Course progress, quiz scores, and assignments stored in our database.
  • Integration Data:
    • Google Drive: Metadata and content of specific files you choose to upload/share.
    • Google Meet: Meeting IDs and schedules for your live classes.
    • Gmail: Email addresses for sending course-related notifications.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data strictly to provide our educational services:

  • To create and manage your student or instructor profile.
  • To facilitate live video learning via Google Meet.
  • To allow assignment submission and resource sharing via Google Drive.
  • To send essential service updates and course notifications via Gmail.

3. Google API Disclosure (Limited Use)

Narao's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • No Advertising: We do not use your Google data to serve advertisements.
  • No Data Selling: We do not sell your personal information or Google data to third parties.
  • Minimum Scope: We only request the minimum permissions (scopes) necessary to provide Narao’s features.

4. Data Storage and Security

We utilize Supabase as our backend provider to ensure high-level data security:

  • Encryption: All user data is encrypted at rest and during transit (SSL/TLS).
  • Access Control: We implement Row Level Security (RLS) in Supabase, ensuring that your private data is only accessible to you and authorized platform administrators.
  • Storage Location: Data is stored in secure cloud environments managed by Supabase, adhering to industry-standard compliance.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request data deletion at any time by contacting us at admin@narao.academy. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our active Supabase databases within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

Narao works with trusted partners to provide our services:

  • Google LLC: For authentication and classroom tools.
  • Supabase, Inc.: For database and storage infrastructure. These partners are prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to Narao.
